A glint of green

there is a distinct lack of fungi at the moment, bracket or otherwise. Thank goodness for the onset of spring and the burst of glorious sunshine this weekend...happy birthday mum

Today the glint of green is there ;'

'Is it so small a thing
To have enjoyed the sun,
To have lived light in the spring,
To have loved,to have thought ,to have done.'

Matthew Arnold

ah-just one small problem here-too busy taking photos to look at the trees and identify them

I remain fascinated by the patterns and colours of this beautiful bark

A Devon breeze

a weekend by the sea with my nearest and dearest-apologies in advance for the inevitable seaweed/shell shots...

literally hundreds of cuttlefish shells strewn across the beach

proof at last of my eldest daughters existance and the fact that her legs do move when prised into wellies

Milo and Bertie

one might be forgiven for thinking it was the height of summer instead of a cold brisk February day and the rest of us were wrapped up in coats
