Plums-And -Custard Tricholomopsis rutilans,  with egg-yolk yellow gills this is a very distinctive species

reminder to self not to kneel under a Horse Chestnut taking photos of conkers when it is exceptionally windy..!

Common Earthball

aha, a bit of a find, I am fairly sure this Wood Mushroom is Agaricus urinascens var.excellens which is supposedly rare

the gills of the above

the slugs have all but polished off this Bolete

  1. I haven't been back here for a while - too much "stuff" going on in my life - but I love your photos! Such a wonderful antidote to the normal daily crap and city grind.

Haven't seen much of Milo lately - I hope everything's OK?

And, you may have said somewhere, but what equipment do you use? I'm not a photographer - I'd like to be but I doubt I'd ever produce anything near the quality of yours.
